What an exciting time. And, Jay’s is ready to help.
And, if you are like many newly engaged brides-to-be, you have more questions than answers. What will it be like? Will “they” pressure me? Should I bring my friends? Or, is it better to shop alone to start?
Should I make an appointment? How many places can I visit in one day? How long should each appointment be?
We understand! And, we want you to know that your shopping experience at Jay’s will be exactly what you hope it will be. We will greet you, listen, ask a few questions and go from there. You will be in control. There’s no need to worry about our “adjenda.” After 74 years, we recognize that no two brides are the same, and for this reason, we will take our lead from you.
It is about finding the perfect dress. There is one for you at Jay’s, regardless of your budget, regardless of your look, regardless of your time frame. It is here!
Will you find it in one visit? Probably not.
Should you make an appointment? Probably so!
Should you shop online first? Yes!
And, when you call for your appointment, we will be happy to pull three or four dresses for you and have them waiting in your own spacious private room.
Will we respect your “privacy?” Yes, but trying on gowns does require help! Zippers need zipping. Corset styles need professional lacing. And, most importantly, you need to be able to express your feelings…and without someone there to listen, the process is daunting.
Our consultants are trained to be patient. They have to be. You will find we have the largest selection of gowns in the area. At Jay’s it is impossible to see everything in one visit or during one appointment. If at first you don’t succeed, we want you to try-try again. This is about finding the dress that is right for you, It’s not about being “sold” the same dress as everyone else, or about using phony tactics to make you believe that you must buy in the next few days or lose a discount that never existed.
